The mashup: DJ Shaolin's work on the turntables, airwaves, and making professional connections

When you think of a DJ, you think of the person on the turntables, the 1's and 2's, along with providing the soundtrack for the moment, event, and more. And when you consider the work of DJ Shaolin, it's merely scratching the surface of the work he does in the field, including radio and bringing businesses and people together.

The New York City-raised and Atlanta-based DJ takes time to share how he got here. Being influenced by music along with an early affinity for Kung Fu movies (similar to a certain hip-hop group who is "for the children"), he moves from music being a hobby to being an extension of what he does professionally.

In evolving from a hobby to an extension of what he does professionally, DJ Shaolin is able to spin at a wide array of events in Atlanta, across the country, and even globally. Aligned with his current endeavors with 93.9 Powerhitz (WZYB in Atlanta, GA) add to his growing presence in music, media, and beyond.

And speaking of beyond, the launch of a quarterly networking series is the next step in bringing businesses and people together in making professional connections.

On January 25, 2025 from 4-8pm at the network's offices (56 Perimeter Center E in Dunwoody, GA), local business owners, professionals, and related entities are invited to be a part of their business mixer. Being in the mix is a part of what DJ Shaolin does; with the upcoming event, it's about expanding access beyond the turntables and airwaves.
