Something's cooking.
There's times we refer to culinary work when someone actually is putting something together in the kitchen or bakery. And when it comes to sports, when someone's cooking, they're on a roll or streak that is hard to slow down or stop.
And then there's the manner in which Ms. Chloe Brown is cooking.
The Metro-Atlanta native's journey has taken her to New Jersey (alum of Rutgers University) and now Indiana (graduate/professional program at Ball State University), with tennis being a part of her story. Involved with the game at an early age, her prowess on the court translates to playing collegiately, and her love and passion for the game is more than just the competitive edge that comes with it, as she takes the time she can to help instruct to hitting sessions and just immersing herself in the tennis community and culture.
As if her academic and athletic pursuits aren't enough, there's more when it comes to her evolution.
The launch of her bakery business, Br0wn Bakes, is off to a steady start. Given the influence of the women in her family, Ms. Brown's venture is getting rave reviews from family, friends, and the general community. As a by-product of her culinary efforts, she has a collaboration with the Muncie, IN based Deena's Coffee House as they are featuring her creative culinary creations.
And yet, and yes, there's more to her story.
Her faith and community focus is the epicenter of her being. Beyond a sound record of volunteerism and community outreach, her commitment to service and stewardship is a key part of her even being here. Along with a desire to incorporate these elements in her professional endeavors (public relations), it is a way of life for her and the manner in which she reaches, teaches, and engages with others.
And that's what's cooking.
