"It's ok to move by inches".

There are times people think if it's not something large-scale, it's not noteworthy. However, when you consider adages from The Tortoise and the Hare along with the Bible verse (Ecclesiates 9:11) which reads in part, "The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and change happen to them all", we're reminded forward and positive movement is just that.

It can allow for us to build upon things each day, and this is part of the mettle and spirit of Chastity Stevenson Westry.

Our conversation with the Alabama native and Metro-Atlanta resident provides tremendous insight on more than just her professional and civic journey. The Auburn University alumnae carries a proven track record grounded in excellence given her 20-plus year career in sale and marketing along with high-level leadership positions including (but not limited to) with Fortune 500 companies and her current work in the inter-related fields of Science, Agriculture, and Education. Add to it her role as a mother and engaged parent of a soon-to-be collegiate student-athlete, she has her share of moving parts.

And yet, there's something else that adds to her drive and overall professionalism.

With the advent of her law practice, Eagle Law, it's more than just the business side of the legal profession. Given her extensive background in community advocacy, her areas of concentration include (but are not limited to) Guardian ad Litem, contracts, small businesses, along with wills and trusts.

Community engagement is not just part of what she does within her practice. Given her roles and membership with her the Junior League of Atlanta, The Links, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., along with larger advocacy across the board, she is leaving a positive and growing footprint in multiple areas.

And she's making positive moves.

Likewise, she's consistently showing it's ok to move by inches.
