A warm and healing embrace: "Embracing You: A Coloring Book of Womanhood, Self-Love, and Transformation with Affirmations" is a different debut which is good for you

Healing. Restoration. Realization.

These are themes people can identify with whenever someone is working through a life situation because at times, "life is life-ing". However, through her personal journey and speaking to those of others, Raven Creations LLC's Shemeeka Gentry is helping change and transform lives in more ways than one.

The Atlanta-based creative is already a presence when it comes to art and marathon running. As an accomplished and commissioned artist (with piece and murals present in Atlanta and globally) to her new found presence as marathon runner, she's definitively expanding the realm of possibility and what can be, including a newly minted published author.

Her debut work, Embracing You: A Coloring Book of Womanhood, Self-Love, and Transformation with Affirmations, is decisively different. In the form of a coloring book (where she create all the art and images used in the book), it allows for a written and visual manifestation of undergoing the healing process, even when there's some bumps, bites, and bruises. Her concept lends favorably to Black women in mind based on the chapters, artwork, themes, and concepts. In helping others know one's healing journey is just that (theirs), it allows for timely reflection, awareness, and the understanding they are loved, have a sense of strength and determination, along with allowing for grace when there are times when one may stumble, all of which helps augment one's resolve, self-image, and self-love.

During the first quarter of the year (2025), Ms. Gentry has events on the horizon, ranging from book-signings, discussions, and and Paint and Sip series (all forthcoming). Available on Amazon and Etsy, given her pending programming, there's some constructive things at work.

And helping one construct their road to restoration positions people to make the most of the journey, even during its more challenging moments.

And that is a different debut which can be good for you.
