A sophisticated start to the Spring: The Sigma Lounge via the Iconic Iota Zeta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. provides a formal affair and more to support the community
March 20, 2025 marks the first day of Spring (yes, it's right around the corner). For many, it's a change in the weather (hopefully more stable than the weather experienced this Winter) and a time for renewal and rebirth.
And for the Iconic Iota Zeta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, it's an opportunity to reflect on what they've done, yet look forward to their present and future.
As part of their charter celebration (March 24, 2001), their signature event, the Sigma Lounge, takes place. With its evolution to a black-tie event, the evening affair provides a mature setting for its patrons.

In speaking with Toni Gordon (the chairperson of the event), it's one to keep on the radar and calendar to attend and/or lend support (March 22, 2025 from 6-11pm at Holidays Event Center located at 5370 Stone Mountain Highway in Stone Mountain, GA). Those in attendance (to purchase tickets, click HERE) are provided a tremendous setting and experience, complete with a plated-dinner, networking, and more (the clip below provides the details on the event):
As if the setup and options available aren't enough, proceeds from the event support the chapter's community initiatives; this ranges from scholarship opportunities for those in their service area (North Atlanta, Marietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Vinings, and DeKalb County) and related programming.
Tickets/sponsor packages are available through February 21, 2025 (click HERE for more details).
With the larger sorority legacy established on the campus of Butler University (November 12, 1922) under the mindset of "Greater Service, Greater Progress", the chapter does so as they approach 24 years since their inception with 12 members (as they have grown to more than 150 members). Along with their upcoming event, they'll look to build on their growing history and presence service and outreach to the immediate and interlocking community.
And via the Sigma Lounge, it's a sophisticated way to do so in starting Spring on a sound and solid note.
