Go "fourth" this Sunday (and other Sundays too): The Greek Day Party
Autumn (or the fall) is associated with the change of seasons. The leaves change colors and descend to the ground, and some things become dormant.
However, just as the air gets a little cooler and more crisp, so too does a series envisioned by two members of our Black Greek Letter Organizations (BGLO's) which allow fellow members and the larger community to meet, greet, connect, and lend broader support to their collective and individual endeavors.
Thanks to TeamUs Entertainment (under the leadership of Roy Roberts (a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.) and Toni Roberts (a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.), the forthcoming Greek Day Party Series is an endeavor designed to bring multiple entities together. With a focus on networking and laying the groundwork for broader support and collaboration, their "Fourth Sunday" series is a means to bridge-build between said organizations and the larger community.
"We are excited to have Ibiza Lounge and Restaurant (4500 Satellite Blvd in Duluth, GA) serve as our host venue. Our focus is providing our fellow members and the larger community an engaging environment to network and socialize", they emphasize.
Organizations are allowed to share their flyers for upcoming events. Combined with upcoming service programs ranging from a canned food drive to support the Salvation Army's holiday efforts (November 25th) and Toys for Tots (December 30th), it truly is social engagement with a larger community connection.
Each Sunday series takes place from 3-9pm. A blend of live music and some of the top DJ's in Metro-Atlanta provide the soundtrack to each event. Combined with "pocket friendly" drink specials, free parking, and no cover, it lends favorably to a mature, engaging setting to patronize.
With added support from Red Level Entertainment and GFC Promotions, readers may stay informed of this and related efforts.
And go "fourth" this Sunday; actually every fourth Sunday.
