Test prep leads to a better performance
Preparation is the key.
This is consistent with a good many things, ranging from the work we do on our jobs, in the community, and at home. When it comes to students, we understand the importance of building solid habits that are time-tested or are able to adjust to the times in order for them to be as successful as possible.
With the recent changes (as of March of 2016) to the SAT and the hurdles of the ACT or any other standardized test, it doesn't tell a student's entire story, but for those focused on their 4-year and 2-year options (among others), it is one of the criteria used for acceptance. Students realize they actually know more of the content than what they think; however, without adequate time to learn how to navigate through the respective formats, it can be more challenging than what they realize, even with the knowledge that most students are going to take either exam a minimum of two (2) times.
Ranging from working with area schools, small classes and workshops, or individualized plans, we are able to provide students with the instruction and practice needed so they are not just confident in their abilities, but are able to reach their goals based on where they are applying. Time is of the essence and is very important. Doing your best means you do not do a rush job on your preparation, or take the "see if I can hit the side of a barn" adage as going back and forth between the SAT and ACT only adds to a student's stress. Given the entire post-high school education process, it is already a time-consuming and labor intensive time period; why add to it when working ahead and allowing for ample preparation time help a student to better manage the moving parts?
This is just part of how we make it happen for and with our clients. And that is why it's a good idea to reach out to us today so we can help you make it happen too.
